Body Edge Trim

I’d like to share a tip maybe some of you aren’t aware of. Body edge trim for your Rc. Comes in various lengths and a few colours. Goes on super firm, no extra adhesive required. 16 feet did the K8 and Traxxas Stampede with a bit left over.
It’ll look like crap on a road car but looks cool on a brasher.

I tired it on the body edges., just that it comes off easily when bashing. If it would stay on, it adds strength for sure. The tacky adhesive also melts in the warm climates, dirt gets in there and it falls off. I even tried E6000. Helped a bit better, but was just messy and didn't look good.
I tend to use it now for the splitters on my Lim and Infr. Keeps the leading edge from chipping and wearing. Not bullet proof, but adds more life to the splitters for sure.
Yours came out very neat. Have you bashed hard with them yet?

Yes. It’s on there so tight I’ve never had issues with it. I actually had to tap it on with a hammer to get it to “bite”
