Took it to the skate park on 4s, had a blast. It flew into a wall at a million MPH and sheared the front right shock socket head screw clean off the front shock post and bent the hell out of it, haha. Luckily no damage to the actual shock. I regret nothing!

I replaced the screw and hammered the shock post to kinda straight but not really. The body fits on but only because the rear holes are torn up too. Is it gonna hurt anything to drive it around like that until the replacement comes or should I just wait?

Lol nice. I just got mine. 4S setup same as you ask stock for now. I been on a flat Park so far as I get a handle for it. This thing is a beast. Hope you repairs quickly.

Blasted the rear body mount holes to shreds, so mission accomplished I guess!

what batteries are you guys using? I'm looking for a single 4s or two 3s batteries to use

I thought you were gonna say 2x4s at a time, you should use the drywall tape with goop to patch up those holes. Works like a charm, plenty of youtube videos on it.

You could also cut a strip of scrap lexan if you have any around. I did it on the front of my kraton cause I had the same trouble on my front end. I cut a strip of lexan and drilled 2 holes for the posts. Worked pretty well.

Shoe goo and drywall mesh do add a ton of strength. I’m not sure if they’d help with the body mount holes though. That’s a high stress area.

That type of body shreading is caused by chassis flex. Yes, the tape and goo body fix is a good idea, but if you are gonna keep beating on it, you may also want to add a tower to tower brace.

Do you have a pic I can see?

Like this but you may have to do it underneath as well. Mine worked just being on top. If it stacks too high it might be too thick for the clips to go in.
