Ya i hear ya there, I'd like to get aluminum drive axels but don't wanna buy a buch of stuff unless ive got part numbers to convert a slider shaft to fit my senton 3sThere is no aftermarket support for these buggies yet. You will be very limited to what you can do without making modifications.
Ive gon and made my own axle and tie rod end boots out of baloons and packed them full of grease, workd pretty goodYa i hear ya there, I'd like to get aluminum drive axels but don't wanna buy a buch of stuff unless ive got part numbers to convert a slider shaft to fit my senton 3s
I took a rear T-bone bumper from a senton and made it work.
hey hattrick300 I like a lot how those badlands look in the typhon, however don't they put a lot of stress and overheat for this platform ? why did you go with MT badlands instead of buggy badlands which are lighter ?
I'm not hattrick300 but I can answer it...
I went w/ the older Badlands MT because I didn't want the mass of the MX28s because I feared the heat issue you speak of. Even with the smaller older version I saw excess heat on the 20t pinion. I had to go back to the 15t to keep the temps down. The main reason I wanted bigger tires was for control in the air. Easier to flip, easier to correct mistakes, etc...and you get a little more clearance in grass and brush.
So yes, you're right, you do get more heat w/ the bigger tires, so I went w/ the smaller of the two badland MT options and kept the stock 15t to keep it cool.
Thanks a good advice, thanks ! Could I please have the link for the exact badlands model you used ?
Thank you ! did you need hex extensions ? I've seen some folks needing hex extensions when using MT tires on the Typhon.

How dose the senton handle those big tires, i would think it wouldnt have much bottom end with a 20 tooth pinionSuperticky,
I put the MX28's on there and only ran it for about 5 minutes before I broke a front a-arm. The MX28's ended up on my boys 3s Senton. I ordered a set of the badlands and a set of F-11 wheels that may end up on it, not sure at the moment.

I had a copy paste mistake and listed the screw part numbers twice. You need the "bumper springs" AR320410. Link is below. I also updated the original post with correct info.
