So I tried to install a 39 pinion with stock 47 spur, with the stock motor mount but only 1 screw on fits :D

Really don’t want to run it with 1 screw holding the motor.

Anyone know my options

New motor mount?
New pinion what is max with stock mount and stock spur?
New spur?

800KV hobbywing
Stock ESC for now.

Thanks for any suggestion.

don't you need a 39t spur. not right good with the 8s kraton rtr yet. I just put a 26t pinion on for now and its fast enough for me

Need to try my outcast more, its has 39:39, if it works out good for me I well go for the 39 tooth spur on the kraton as well and check it out with stock esc.
Max 5 in outcast, same motor in both 800kv gen 1 hobbywing.

Most people who run 800kv end up running 39/39.

So I ran the Outcast again and decided to go with the 39 spur on Kraton 8s.

For me speed is more than good enough with 39:39 pinion/spur on 800kv hobbywing gen 1 with Max 5 gen 1 ESC and some basic DXF 5200mah 80c batteries. Now I don't know why my stock stock exb rtr motor with the crap stock fan destroyed itself but size wise and construction wise is looks weak compared to the hobbywing 800kv gen 1.

If it got toasted its a joke compared to hobbywing 800kv gen 1 motor,

The hobbywing 800kv motor is noticeably bigger so it's a lot more motor.
