Merry Christmas everyone :)

Wheels/tires are expensive so some feedback would be nice.

I have the stock tires on both that I guess works good in grass?
Winter now cant test them on grass.

Both have hobbywing 800kv gen 1 motor and both will run 39:39

Want to buy a set of belted tires that can be used with both, at the moment I only run on pavement, snow and grass.
Guessing the stock tires works good for balloning with jumps so this is more about control in higher speeds.

Any advice?

These seem fine: Louise X-MALLET Tires (MFT) on Black Kraton Wheels

Rough All-Terrain Tires for Kraton 8S
Louise X-MALLET Tires (MFT) on Black Kraton Wheels

Truck tires for the high performance ARRMA Kraton 8S. The new X-MALLET tire has the new incorporated MFT technology that is engineered to limit tire expansion (normally refered to as "balooning"). • More ridgid overall tire structure
  • Less distorsion/flex
  • Stable and even contact with the road surface - more grip and longer tire life

Fits:

  • ARRMA Kraton 8S
  • (Also may fit other trucks with 24 mm hexes)

Specs:

  • Micro Fiber Tech system (MFT)
  • Tire Diameter: 212 mm
  • Tire Width: 98.8 mm
  • Hex: X-Maxx 24 mm
  • Tire Compound: Sport
  • Wheel finish: Black Nylon

Time for christmas celebration but I will look these up.

Not exactly "belted" but mx43 the best tires ever and even hold up to 12s.

MX43 seem very robust but I am not gonna do 12s

Someone may find this useful to watch.

The MX57 wheels is (belted) nice and expensive but people seem to have rims break easy, maybe its corrected nowadays.

I launch my truck with mx57 on concrete and grass and haven't broken rims

damn son, was it cold to feezing temps? i know that makes plastic snap way too quick. did anything else break or just the rim
It was probably like 60f or so and the rim was the only thing that broke. I had to replace the tire with the nw mx57 with removeable hubs

I've never had a single bad thing happen with mx43 though, think I own at least 4 sets now too haha.

So what do you think of the performance difference between MX43 and MX57?

mx57 are lighter so technically better for temps. mx43 are more durable in every regard though and offer better air control for jumps. You also never have to worry about tires coming unglued with the mx43.
