Typhon New 4s 1/8 car ready to run

Got the parts today to finish new FOR NOW 4s car..gonna try an mount a Vendetta body on this car..the narrowest 1/8 swb possible.think it'll be about 1 inch to wide,I'll figure out how to mount it.. swb, senton6 suspension,xlx,tp4050cm 2300kv for now till I get 4060cm-3480kv.2.8 diffs,kept car light.flipped motor mount.....crazy that a swb can fit 95ish mm motor,an a 1/7 infraction only 85ish mm...with big gears,90ish TTC I could put tp5670 in swb,103mm I think.. car looks so big since I've only been running mini typhon.. @TN-RC I'll call this by just typhon for list sakes..

Ordered tp4060cm-3480kv for this car...at 78000 rpm max it's good for 22.4 volts.might try it in mini typhoon too.

I would fit a powerful 40mm fan on the xlx.
They can get hot single lipo low cell runs.

Motor comes today,this car will get a xlx2.going for a setup like SLOWRCMIKE on UT..3,4,5s setup I'm hoping 130s++++.xlx will go in 5.5lb 1/10th mini typhon..been keeping eye on xlx temps..need a 40×40×10mm 12v fan for it..not much room under typhoon body

Xlx2 is great.
I found temps and ripple came right down when switching over but that 1/8 stretched openwheel buggy.
Maybe not too bad with 1/10.

I got one run in last year with new lipos but was one of those runs what you think was bsd but turned out pretty good.

Im hoping to get Typhon into high 130s, low 140s this year too.

I got typhoon through 120s easy,130s with some work,typhoon seamed to hit a aerodynamic wall at 140..couldn't get past 140 with typhon..kept breaking things.this year I'm keeping cars light an on less volts an see what happens....yup xlx is at 1.5 to 3v ripple every pass.xlx2 will be under 1v.on a 3000kv+ motor ripple makes huge difference...ran a 4s 106mph yesterday with 3650-3080kv an pinion came off soon as I hit WOT.should see 110+ next run...very little voltage drop with 36mm motor an very light car..excited to see what this 36mm motor will do on 4s..getting cnhl 5s pack in mail today also...5s should really wake this 3650 up..expecting good #s with this car....plastic spur,an diffs still in car....might try 4060 in mini typhoon at some point..having a blast running lower voltage

New system installed an ready for 1st hit tomorrow.....xlx2 and tp4060cm-3480kv....still have room for a piece of CF down center for another pack...27/40 gearing should put it over 100mph on 4s.....lol!
