Hey all,
Recently purchased my first RC car in 15 years. Last car was a nitro powered on-road car and it was a pain in the ass lol...
Arrma Big Rock 3S BLX V3 - This thing is a blast, and has been super durable.
Things i've done so far to it:
1.) alignment correction
2.) Pro-Line Badland tires
3.) dust cover to keep the rocks from getting stuck in the steering arm. >=(
Yesterday I actually had a failure after running a couple batteries through it, the RR axle stub screw backed out of the plastic slider axle and the wheel came off. I have all of the parts but the threads got messed up inside the stub and cant get the screw back in. Is this a common problem?
I've already ordered a couple new axles, and some new sealed bearings as the ones that were on that corner don't feel very smooth. Figured I've have spares for the others if they start to go.
Also, next upgrade I want to do is something with the shocks. They seem very soft to me, but I think with the heavier/larger badlands tire it needs something a little stiffer.
Any advice on a simple shock upgrade? I saw somewhere about using Typhon 6s shocks. Thoughts?
Thanks!
