Jenny's got me in a moment of weakness, so I have extra blx motors and esc's. I also have a pile of redcat blackout parts laying about. And down time (knee surgery). Let's see if we can make a 4s blackout sleeper sc truck to freak out my tekno buddy. ?

It's close to ready, just waiting on a few pinions to test out, and maybe a spur upgrade. It's pretty light as is, so I might get away without a new spur for a run or two. Katars might look good on it as a mt, too....

It sure would be nice if those dumb orcs showed up that I ordered over a month ago!

Stoopid fast, hard to control (poop tier servo), and much quieter than expected. Now to put a decent servo in & destroy some tires!

I don't know about this one, guys. On 3s it's a blast, on 4s it melts spurs, puts a hurtin on rims & tires, and causes the esc to go into timeout. Too much hookup on grass (half throttle sent it 30+ feet on my backyard kicker, resulting in a broken diff cover). These little blackouts don't seem to like big airs. I've had to retune the steering a few times, and it's super picky about tire balance. I think I'll pull the arrma stuff, replace that with a cheapo ebay motor and esc, then use it as a beater with one of the arrma rtr radios so I can hand it off to neighborhood kids at 50% and let them run it on 2s. It'll still be fun on 3s, but I don't think the engineering is up for more. I definitely see a set of mini desperados or hoons in its future, though. It's a hoot on pavement.
