Mojave suddenly pulled the brake. Turns out one screw on the center differential was loose. Within a few seconds all happened. Ate right into the aluminium. The rotation obviously turned that screw out and acted as a brake pad. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I find those screws awfully close to the center mount anyway. Not sure about locktight and 2,5mm hex. Any ideas?

I never did either until using metal diff cups. They’ll come loose otherwise as you found out.

Matching Pair!
This happened the other day.
Blue Locktight didn't hold the grub :-/

Also forgot two put that little spacer between the motor and pinion

I like the way you can set the mesh.

I've seen mixed reviews on that Hot Racing motor mount, you also need the top part or it won't work and apparently you can't run the Hobbywing 4985 either.

Have locktite on the lower side of the diff. Added some to the spur side. Got a couple of rigs with a aluminium diff in center. Need to locktite upgrade. Thanks for the feedback!

THANKS!
Yeah, pisses me off!
Amazon doesn't even have that part listed.

HR wants another $25+ for the top piece.
Thats a total of around $80+ and im not sure it's worth it.
Found some others that were nice, scorched but that bundle totals near $150.

And I have another Arrma EXB set as a backup so I think this is going back.

Id really just like better top screws. The Arrma ones strip easily.
