Buy a cheap temp gun, totally worth it cuz it takes the guess work out and you can check motor, ESC, and battery temps all within moments. Gives you piece of mind with concrete numbers to reference from, can be an early clue to drivetrain or bearing resistance issues that will push temps up as loads increase too.
