Crap battery tray..
any suggestions on something different because it doesn't fit my batts unfortunately I bought 4 batteries 3s 5400mah then I cut the tray no protection to the outside.. plus it hides all the cf.. any thoughts? Thanks guys

Also does anyone know if the larger outcast tray would bolt right up to the senton battery brace and if it would even hold 2 5400mah 3s? If it didn't bolt up I can make it work but would defeat the purpose if it wouldn't hold the batts.

I really appreciate everyone here that checks out my stuff and am able to ask questions you guys rock.

3s?, I can get 2 4s 5500mah to fit in the Outcast tray. The Outcast tray does need the same rear holes to be drilled exactly 24mm (center-to-center of the holes) away from the old holes. The batteries have to be stacked but I can easily fit huge 6s packs in it as well.

Yeah I was talking side by side my bad but thanks for the reply. Do you think they would fit side by side in the outcast tray?

@Osuandrew87 The Outcast tray was designed for the batteries to stack. Even 2 2s batteries won't fit side by side. The tray raises & clamps down on the batteries on one end, straps them on the other end, then wraps around the entire tray. It the most secure open battery tray I've used in a long time.

@Megasty okay I see what you're saying I just feel so much more comfortable with them side by side rather than stacked with the taller battery tray I think it stacking would be better but mine is the shorter tray.. I'm just going to make one up out of cf I guess

Hot Racing makes a huge battery tray. I used it for an 8s Kraton project way back when. It would make great cf template dimension wise since it's flat with bolt on sides.

Running outcast battery tray in my Kraton and 6s graphene brick fits perfectly snug. 2x venom 3s 5200mah 50c fit perfect side by side in daughters outcast.

I've been eying that battery tray for a while .. is it worth the money ?? And how does it fit the kraton v4?

Arrma fixed the problem with the V4 tray with the EXB tray, giving it more screws to bolt into the chassis. The HR tray has this same problem but the 4 screws holding it down would break, leaving pathetic loctited nubs with no hope of getting them out.
