That looks pimp

What was your process? I want to deanodize my leopard 4092 1730kv going in my senton, but I did want to take the entire motor apart. If it could even be done

I don't take any responsibility for this, it worked for me.

This was ma 2nd deanodize. 1st one, i just used bush and wiped ln the can, but it resullted in, didnt run clean so to speak..dissmounted it and still a long time after it was done, i found moist.

So, its a must to take it apart, the front and rear endbell, is something i don't recomend to deanpsized, due to the ev slop where bearing is.

I had ma can soaked in the caustic soda water, i had no idea if it would loosen up the Stator, but i did, and used a brush to help. Then i sat the can on ma stove, but i only used so much heat that i just bearly coulds hold ma hands on it for 2 or 3 sec. It needs to be 100% dry.

And yet i habe not tested, but i am 100% sure it works, i cant see any visual damage in it.

I've de-adonized many parts. If you don't want to use straight caustic soda, Heavy Duty Easy Off Oven Cleaner works too (I've heard Greased Lightening works too, but never tried it). The only catch is, you need the part to be fully submerged in it, and the oven cleaner comes out as a foam at first. I just did a set of shocks the other day. Didn't get inside the thread as well as I would've hoped, but still pretty good.

I know I'm late but do you have any pics? I wanna do this so bad But I've heard bad things about ti being toxic and possibly stripping the grooves out of the body. I'd pay to have it done if you're interested...
