What pinion did you use with that hobbystar 1730? I did the same but it seems to start cutting out after about 10 min of ripping. I got a 19t pinion now.

Hello, what size/Mah pack are you using?? I ran a 19 tooth Tekno pinion, with a Hobbywing MAX 6 Esc. In warmer weather I also ran a Yeah Racing heatsink with a pair of ProTek 30mm fans. I ran that setup with CNHL 70C 5000Mah 6S Batteries, and a SMC 5400Mah 90C 6S Battery on mostly short grass, and occasionally on Pavement with great results. My Kraton's setup is rather heavy, with an older M2C Chassis, metal Hot Racing Bulkheads, MAX 6 Esc with dual fans, metal shock towers/chassis braces, Etc.. Truck had a ton of power, and would almost backflip if you weren't careful, and that was with the Esc throttle punch set at level 3. I'm currently running the same setup with a 21 tooth pinion, with lighter-weight SRC Belted VHT Crusher tires and it's been great so far.
