Hi,
I am brand new to the forum and a new Arrma owner as well. I have that same Vorteks. I realized days after receiving it that this was not the color scheme that I had ordered. I ordered the purple and blue one and they sent me that same one you have there. I had not been able to find so much as a pic of another one like it until I saw yours just now. Was just wondering if that same thing happened to you or not.

Hey well welcome!!! As I am also a few months back in to it myself. But as far as that vortek goes it’s my wife’s and we actually bought it from local hobby shop in town I believe was sitting on box displayed so when she seen the colors she had to have it!!!! So no it was not ordered brother she got it off the shelf!!! Didn’t know it was that rare of scheme!!!!!

Thanks for responding so quickly. My thoughts once I realized it was different than what I had ordered were - "this is a girls color scheme??" But screw it, I did contact them and they have said I need to do a couple things and they will replace it, but to be honest I still love it regardless. I can buy another body for fairly cheap anyhow. I plan on putting it through the paces so I'm sure I will need another at some point. Hopefully she likes hers as much as I like mine!

Dude!! Certainly not only a girls color scheme not at all. I definitely take that thing out and bash it myself. I love the way that little thing handles and how fun it is to drive and personally I really like the color combo on it myself it’s just different it’s not like anything else. Certainly kind of one of a kind type of scheme for sure. and yes, you’re absolutely right definitely can change it to whatever you wish down the line, putting another body on it you know and it doesn’t even have to be that same style I know proline makes a couple different body types and style for the car itself, and then you can make it any color you wish but good luck, my friend enjoy it and definitely fix it if it’s not broke !!!
