I did that to my original body also.
Ended up taking the 2 rectangle wing mounts off and haven't taken a chunk out of the bed since. The 4 screws that hold it on don't have any issues threading in another 1 or 2mm to take up the thickness

I don’t know why I didn’t even think to take off the wing mounts. I’ll do that thank you!
