How do you keep the snow out I had an esc go bad because the snow was packed inside killed it!

Unfortunately I think I learned my lesson too... I really got to 3d print some serious mudguards and such to keep the snow out... I ended up now having my Kraton not being able to run because I ended up killing the Receiver, motor fan, and the ESC due to checking the BEC voltage and touching the +&- accidentally... I do think that the snow on the ESC helped kill it though. It's fun in the snow but now I'm not sure if it's worth doing with now not being able to run my Kraton at all....
Edit: you could plastic wrap the insides shut to keep as much snow out as possible but monitor temps. Otherwise Idk.
