3s Vorteks wheelie bars wheels are made for bearings!!

So the wheels on the vortrks wheelie bar are rubber, not plastic like on the rest of the line. I broke the wheelie bar on my vorteks and was swapping over the wheels to another 3S wheelie bar. I realized the vorteks wheels were different, they had plastic bushings that happened to be the same size as the outer wheel bearing.

So I pulled out the bushings and put in bearings, Using a washer in between the wheel bar and wheel. I can’t believe how smooth they are now. This is great! I’m going to convert over to Vorteks wheels on my other cars I have and and throw in bearings. I’ll just use old bearings that are no longer good on the car itself. Freakin’ cool

Cool I bought 2 pairs of Vorteks wheelie bars from Jennys, to replace the Big Rock hard plastic wheels. Now I will add bearing to them also.

I have the early Vorteks wheelie bars on my Big Rock and Typhon 3s and both have the rubber wheels and bearings in them. They run very smooth this way.

Same size as the small one on the 3s outer wheel hub.
