So I rebuilt the front & rear shocks in my Gorgon w 500cst shock oil. I believe 100cst is stock & was really soft. Truck bottomed out easy & tipped over a lot. The 500 seems much better on the bench even though I haven't run it yet. Makes it feel more like a basher & plus I got the stuff to do brushless upgrade. I think the 500cst will be better w the 3500kv motor & 100a ESC. Any thoughts or input?

Did you get a chance to run the new shock oil setup?
Looking at the exploded diagram parts list, it seems that stock it comes with 100 cSt in the front shocks and 500 cSt in the rear shocks. I'm interested in hearing how it changes with 500 all around.

Looks like it's definitely 100cst all 4 shocks. No I haven't. It's dark by the time I get home but just messing around with it on a table it seems like it might be on the stiff side. But also I finally got all the parts here for the brushless upgrade. It might be fine w brushless power & too stiff brushed. Idk. I will be testing both & post what it does. I'm eager to see. 100cst to me is too soft when I ran it brushed on nihm. I'll run 2s brushed 1st then brushless.

I know right! I saw that too. But down in description it says 100cst. They mixed up I guess. When I had the shocks off w no springs, I did some testing & I can say it was all 100cst. Very thin. I wish I had a container then to save it in just in case.

That's interesting. Looking at the exploded parts diagram (https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/interactive-exploded-view?pid=ARA3230ST1) and part number for the rear shock it shows this:

Yes just got in from bashing the brushless Gorgon. Works great w the 500cst. Don't think I'll go lower. It lands perfectly on jumps from 3 feet up. No chassis slap but goes all way down to chassis then right up. Added the Big Rock 3s wheelie bar too & will hold a wheelie for 20 feet or so. It's a lot of fun. I'll tell ya it's tough like everyone states. I ran it hard & flipped it & multiple cartwheels. It just goes takes a beating.
Few pics. I put rubber shock bumpstops too. They hit right at end of travel & are soft. I think that helps. Lands really well. Not bouncy at all.
