When Shooting candy colors if you shoot less coats the colors come out brighter ...and if you shoot 3-4 light coats and then back with a couple light coats of chrome the color will look very metallic and chrome ish

if you keep the paint light it lets more light through the body and gives you that more metallic chrome pop

I love the depth of this green you shot here though..looks great

This nova body I painted was done with the same spaz stix candy green but backed with metallic silver ..you can see how different the green looks when shot lighter..there’s no right or wrong way..it’s really just about what color you’re looking to achieve
