Best gearing for speed currently running a 20t pinion and 91t spur gear I have a extra 23t piñon gear on hand what spur gear would fit perfect for speed

Yes a granite brushless conversion

Well for more speed you want to use a lower tooth spur (big plastic gear) and a higher tooth pinion (small metal gear). I’d ditch that 91t spur for sure and get something way smaller. Don’t let it get hot, unless all you want is to do speed runs, I wouldn’t go for speed only.
