So sounds like its not any beefier? Just a marketing ploy?
No it's 7075 and it IS stronger than the base model 6065 aluminum.

The stock chassis on the Fireteam is fine as long as you're not trying to get likes on social media.

Anything will bend or break if the driver wills it.

Thank you, love the idea of getting the Mojave Extreme Bash chassis! Didnt realize they were the same platform. What is the difference between the FT6S stock chassis and the Mohave EXB chassis? Same material? Just thicker?
After reading some post on the above looks like there is really no major advantage to the EXB chassis. Not money well spent for me. Stay with stock or go M2C when it comes to chassis.

Congrats on the new rig...

Most of us would say bash it first and see what breaks to see what you need... everyone's style is different.

If I were to give a list of what I found was most helpful with my FT it would have been:

1. MC2 rear shock tower brace - redirect the force so does not bend the rear shock tower
2. M2C shock standoff - I'm not a jumper. Even on a bad bash/crash, the stocks bend
3. Aluminum front/rear chassis braces. I found some on ebay been good since did not go with M2C

Those are normally my basics. I did more, but those were areas in which I needed support for my style.

All of the above is optional and certainly not required for you to get started and find your fell

Absolutely agree on the chassis braces, but I would add to only get the keyed ones, so the Arrma EXB ones are off the table.

I'd also opt for a carbon fiber top brace. It stronger and lowers your CG.

I'm testing out a CF chassis now. I've seen some on eBay, and I've never wanted to pull the trigger, but I ended up getting a ScorchedRC CF one. I'm doing a HW 5690 in my FT, will see how it all holds up.

After using some of the eBay cf I would say you made the better choice going with ScorchedRc.

The EXB chassis is 7075 aluminum and is harder to bend than the stock chassis.
So true... my comment to the OP was comparing this to a more expensive chassis also the cost between all 3 - stock, EXB, other better brands

You can get them on Jenny’s for $50
Yeah for the Kraton but Jenny's does not sell an EXB chassis that fits the Fireteam. The XLWB EXB chassis is about $130 $20 more gets you a chassis from M2C that is much much stronger than the Arrma "7075".

You are correct. They used to have it but haven’t checked for that exact part in a long time.

That’s not horrible. I was just looking at their stuff and their chassis’ look like they’re very nicely machined. Their XL is $108.00 now, and that doesn’t seem that bad. It’s nice that they’re doing their own thing as well with those center strengthening ridges. I already got a TLR chassis for a Typhon that’s getting a rebuild, and I would have considered an ADU if I would have seen them. Their Typhon/Outcast/NOTO chassis is only $80.00 and it looks really nice.

Got on AliExpress for $80 before they went up in price, 7mm reinforced 7075-T6(actually tempered unlike competitors) through the center. Not even Raz could bend this.

FWIW the XLWB chassis is cheaper from their Aliexpress store than it is from their eBay store, probably still ships from the same place in China. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805745754167.html?pdp_npi=4@dis!USD!US $93.83!US $93.83!!!676.50!676.50!@2101f00017134867714572633ea0aa!12000034905143091!sh!US!769999536!&spm=a2g0o.store_pc_allItems_or_groupList.new_all_items_2007616092910.1005005932068919&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa

So is the Typhon chassis https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805082969692.html?pdp_npi=4@dis!USD!US $75.14!US $63.87!!!541.73!460.47!@2101f00017134869464445308ea0aa!12000032426988021!sh!US!769999536!&spm=a2g0o.store_pc_allItems_or_groupList.new_all_items_2007616092910.1005005269284444&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa

They have 2 different Typhon chassis I see https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256...6092910.1005006228531167&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa
