Can you post a couple more pictures of the motor...i thought that Sct kit came with a sensored motor. Does it have the sensored port on the bottom cap of the motor (opposite end from the shaft)

Early last years (and older) version didn't. I have that in my stampede. Was either late last year or early this year they started selling the sct sv3 with a sensored 3800kv and didn't even offer the non-sensored 3800kv anymore. The sct sv3 esc can't run in sensored mode, so it seemed like they were just thinning the herd a bit and dropping the non-sensored 3800kv from their catalog.
