Castle MMX6S question

So I’m putting the MMX6S with a 1800kv motor in my sons kraton and I can’t get it to go fast? It drives fine but only goes 10-15mph. With a 4S 100C battery it should go way faster!

Did you calibrate the throttle?

Also, does it go faster in reverse then forward?

Good point ! Always make sure to calibrate throttle. And make sure motor direction is right. Good one Rob

No and yes.

You have to reverse the motor direction in your esc. I had this same issue when I thru the 1717 in my Typhon (mmx8s). The esc defaults the reverse power to 50 percent, and forward to 100 (at least on mine) but when the motor direction is wrong, your forward is getting the 50 percent.

To my understanding you only had to reverse the channel if using Futaba radio gear.!!

You have to do it for Radiolink stuff too.

Then use a castle link or b-link an reverse the motor direction like @Forbes said and recalibrate.
