ESC Thermal Shutdown Issue

Hi,

I have a Arrma Infraction 6S which keeps shutting down due to thermal shutdown.

Has anyone got any tips to stop this from happening, I run 2 x 5300mah 50c 3S batteries (EC5) and I have a fan on the motor.

I’ve not had my Infraction very long, does the high speed pinion make much difference to running temperatures?

I run the standard pinion in mine still, with HR fans and can’t get beyond 5-6min without hitting thermal...
I drive mine like I stole it tho!! ?

Yeah I run Castle Creation fans on mine, I was using high speed pinion but I’ve just changed it back to standard to see if that helps. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to 10 minutes tomorrow ?

If not I’m going to cut some holes in the body lol.

I’m gonna put my K8S stuff in my infraction soon. We’ll see how that does on temps while I’m smoking the tires off it!! ?

Haha, I reckon you’ll go through the rear tires quicker than you’ll get to the thermal shutdown ?
