Hi, new at this forum - and at RC driving, so this may be a total noob question. My son bought an Arrma 4x4 a couple of months ago and it has had issues ever since. After 5 minutes' driving: front shock broke. 5 more minutes: servo busted. 5 more minutes: stopped moving. The RC shop told me that I'd 'bought into a hobby'. I replied that RTR to me seems to stand for 'Ready To Repair'.
Anyway...
The issue now is that the motor seems to be running normally, and when I pick up the car the tyres do turn, but once I put the car down to drive the power transmission to the wheels seems to be too weak and it doesn't move (see clip). I opened up the differential, which seems to be fine, but did notice that it's quite easy to turn the spur gear (see clip), but perhaps this is how these slipper pads are supposed to work...
Any help very much appreciated - thanks in advance!
