WTB Hobbywing Max6?

Hey, guys, so i'm looking to buy a new ESC for my Kraton 6s Currently it is all stock
And I would like to replace The motor with a spektrum 1250kv that I pulled out of my stock 8s and was thinking the Hobbywing Max6 Would Work Perfectly.

I bought a Max 6/1650 Combo, back in May. Since then, it's been in a XMaxx, and a 6s Infraction. It ran strong, smooth and cool in both applications. It could find its' way into my new K6s EXB. I ran 6s in the XMaxx, and usually 4s in the Infraction, and they both ripped well. You can run 8s with the Max6, if you like

What pinion did you run in the 6s & the Max6/1650 combo & what pinion would you run w that & a K6?

I want to say an 18, but I pulled the pinion off, when I put the Infraction back to stock. For the K6, I might start with ~15T, and check temps/performance.

Yea I as well am starting wit a 16 just to see how it runs

I have a max6 that was only ran probably 15ish times and never a full session where the lipo was dead. Bought it for my typhon but pretty quickly after, got interested in speedruns so I bought a castle. You still looking for a max6???

Check out AliExpress. I’ve bought several from a couple of different vendors on there for under $100 including shipping (bought a couple of Max8s for under $80) If you don’t mind waiting 2 weeks & use PayPal there’s no way you can go wrong!

Hobbywing had a killer deals around Xmas. I think I got the max6 1650 combo for like 167 shipped. I just bought it cause it was so cheap. Gotta keep eye open for deals. That’s what I do. Or kick people when their down.
