Yeah that's what those shims are for. Manual never states that.
But you can alter the castor angle easily enough. These 6s rigs are "Baller" rigs. So Castor is usually done this way. Some Baller kit rigs also use pill mounts to alter castor, roll center, and Fr. Arrm sweep angle. All ways to dial in a rig. (think TLRT)
