What is the max c rating for 3s on the 3s blx senton? or does it matter as long as its over 35c?
There is no max discharge c rate, just minimum.

Hey guys, if I do get this little monster what would you recommend,

1. Get 3s batteries that run right into the EC-5 connector (Any suggestions for 3s)
2. Get 3s lipo batteries that require a dean connector adapter? (Is this hard to do, or is it just plug in adapters?)

I don't have any rc trucks or batteries just yet. Starting from scratch.

Will be walking into my hobby store with a hand full of cash and leaving with a granite, 2 3s batteries, and a charger.

This is where I will most likely go:

I would either get batteries that have EC5 connectors already or have the hobby shop solder some on for you, most hobby shops will do this for you for pretty cheap I've heard from $5-$10. I highly recommend that you not use adapters or deans plugs in general. Deans in my opinion are not that great, especially the esc side connectors, they tend to wear out pretty quick or the springs on the tabs get bent. Ec and Xt connectors are far superior to deans again in my opinion and from my own experience.

Roger that.

And would a charger also require an adapter to charge EC-5 batteries?

Thinking these:

Battery - http://hobbyhobby.com/product/363833/reaction-hd-111v-5000mah-3s-50c-lipohardcaseec5/

Charger - http://hobbyhobby.com/product/286417/vision-ultra-ac-dc-charger/

You could have the hobby shop solder the proper connectors on for you or just buy EC5 charge leads. Again don't use adapters, you want to have the most direct connection that you can, hardcore racers actually solder their batteries straight to the esc just to get that tiny bit of power that gets lost through the connector.

Batteries should be okay. But that first charger was released in 2010 is quite dated and has been since discontinued by Dynamite. The second one would be better. But I would look for something newer and if you want to charge 2 of those batteries I would look for a dual channel charger with at least 80w per channel.

What area do you live in? I bought my stampede from them they have the best prices

I'm in Grand Valley outside of Orangeville, work in Mississauga though.

Yeah, $389 for the Granite.

Hi Bicket,
Thanks for the Tread.
From what I understand, the 3s slipper kit seems to be better than Mega slipper kit...
I mean, my local tech did a 3D printer bushing + spur for straight forward spinning. (hurry to see the result)
Have a nice day
