Kraton Motor Mount Issue

Good morning all

Ordered a new motor mount which is stunning, but have an issue with the pinion I've ordered. The grub screw is in a horrible position to tighten, and I'm not sure I like the way it joins onto the spur gear.

Not sure what to do with this one. Any advice would be greatful

I think the mesh is a bit loose. There should be some movement between the spur and the pinion, but not as much as you have.

If I move it closer, it really does grind. I've ordered a new spur which should be here Friday, give that a go
