Just finished this build and decided to share it on the forum. Being a huge associated fan I have tons of parts for the original RC8B/RC8T. I love the way the Outcast looks so I wanted to combine the two.
It's an OG RC8B Buggy with truggy suspension and a spice of arma outcast. It was difficult at first trying to get the suspension right using those bigger wheels. After trial an error I used truggy rears (38 mm) with buggy fronts (29 mm) to get the shocks not to bottom out before the chassis. I wanted to stick with parts I had, knowing I could have bought different ones. Threw in a blx185, Russian unbreakable body, and made some aluminum pieces to mount the body post. Still needs some tuning as I have installed the factory team delrin 1.3x8 pistons. Running 70wt now but feels like I could go heavier. Anyways here is what she looks like.
Couple new lipos.
And her next to my 1:1 scale rc.
And here is the rest of the fleet.
OG Rustler
OG RC8B Buggy Tekno V4
Money pit slash
OG RC8T truggy
Sons sc10 pro4 converted to big rock
Sons RC8T3.2e
