Arrma RC's
  1. Kraton 6s
I am recovering from concussion so it is hard for me to figure out the parts. I have been buying from amain and amazon.

Can someone post the metal parts I need for the complete center diff for a kraton v5 6s blx?

I put 200k in center diff and 2 packs later installed slicks. Blew center diff but I was full throttle parking lot on a 6s 6800 basher battery.

Like this thread. Thank You foy helping

Welcome to the forum, man. Go 500k in your new center diff.
So I should just replace it with the one from Jenny's RC with 500k and get all the air out this time? No need to upgrade to a metal case?

The internals of mine are actually fused to the sidewall and the output to the front wobbles around. It blew up strictly from heat.
Is this a better one that fits?

Whether the EXB center diff is better or worse than the ready to run center diff is highly debatable, the case is still plastic so running it dry will end with the same results. All of the 6s ready to run models use the same center diff, the on road cars just use a smaller spur(46t instead of 50t) and the Fireteam just has an aluminum case.

Thank you for the help. I ordered the lsd center diff, extra screw set, and new take off tires and rims. Only in stock cheap parts to maximize $25 shipping.

Thank you for the info. I am mechanical just brain is still healing from concussion last year. I'll post back my running results once installed.

Welcome to the forum, man. Go 500k in your new center diff.
This! We have seen so many center failures on the forum. Likely due to diffs with little to no "light weight" fluid. Once the center diff starts to "Diff-Out" it seems they heat up really bad and melt or explode.

Seems like 500k+ helps out big time with this problem for open diff's. If you overfill it, the excess oil will push past the seals.

Being you purchased the LSD diff I would definitely pull up a YouTube video and make sure it's assembled correctly. Also, for the LSD the fluid weights react differently, for example 20k fluid will act like a much thicker fluid depending on how your LSD plates are configured compared to a BLX open diff.

Forgot I also just put the high speed gear in right before. It was getting too slow for me. Lol

What weight oil do u recommend I put in F/C/R? Now that I think about it I'm new at this but I'm pretty sure it was what y'all call diffing out real bad. But I was driving it like you stole it just in a parking lot. I must have had way too thin(200k) of oil and I probably didn't let it settle long enough to get every last air bubble out in center diff for my driving style . Have now 50k F / 20k R. Oil I have 20k, 50k, 200k, and 1000 for shocks(haven't done).

Everything go okay? Hope you are all healed up and ready to bash!

Buy this metal Fireteam diff, but put in 500k. What is in there, stock, is only 300K (OE Fireteam Oil ) And always underfilled anyway. The center diff will always run hottest. A Metal Center diff is important. If you want to do it right. My center diffs can get as high as 240F. No joke. A Plastic diff will melt. Been there. Plastic Center diff turned into a molten lump of plastic, oily Tar and metal gears. A mess. Total diff loss.

One is an Open Dif and the other a LSD.
The EXB is usually the LSD. The BLX OD.
I use them both and they each act differently.
