Kraton New n notchy

Hello everyone , my replacement rear diff arrived from Jenny’s , got a fireteam one complete cos of the lack of EXB . Now I have used loads EXB diffs , I believe this may be my first normal spiral version , the diff is smooth , but in the case as delivered it’s really notchy over say 10teeth ? It’s new , clean but poor in one point ? The notchyness is between the main input gear and diff main gear . Is it just Sod’s Law ? It’s going in anyway as I want a blast .

Time to shim! Also, check the tightness of the diff screws on the side that's really notchy. If they are loose, tightening them can take away all or some of the notch.
