Just getting into the hobby. I bought a Kraton 6s BLX and I love It. I want to do a few things to it. I keep seeing posts that refer to using thread lock. What kind of thread lock and where should I use, or NOT use it.

Some of the Kraton guys will probably chime in, but basically where ever a screw goes into metal. Use Blue Loctite and always let it cure 24 hrs.

Welcome to the forum @Dmcnutt1974!! Thread lock is normally used wherever metal meets metal. An example is motor mount to chassis or the steering blocks top and bottom. If I am wrong we will find out soon enough here. Good luck and have a blast!

Always when a screw goes into metal and never when it goes into plastic.

A good thing to remember is, once in awhile you have to add some heat to break the screw lose but you cant use heat on the plastic and for good reason so no loctite on plastic, only metal to metal...

Buy 2 MIP wrenches and it will save your life.
2.0mm and 2.5mm
MIP > Thread locker!
