  1. Typhon 3s
I have converted my Typhon 3s to a 8s conversion. I am running a Specktrum 160a ESC with a Specktrum 1250kv motor, with the Specktrum DX3S receiver. I have got a 26 tooth pinion gear with a 57 tooth spur gear. I have put aluminum arms on the front and back, aluminum driveshaft, metal steering links, aluminum alloy steering assembly, HR 17mm 10mm extension hubs, and a active aluminum rear spoiler. I have got it all together today and I have not ran it yet but it was working properly so for without a test run. I have put the metal differential gear in the back of the vehicle. This is the third time that I have built this car, the first time I crashed it into the curb at about 35mph in my parking lot and broke the front right off and the stock shocks burst open and leaked all over. The second time I tried to run it on 6s and I was at a trucking company in the parking lot and I didn’t have enough room for breaking the car with the stock Typhon tires on it so it slid about 20ft before it turned sideways and then slid backwards into the curb and broke the rear of the chassis clear off. It was a epic crash I wish I had video taken of it. I now have it put together and before I had put the new Arrma metal differential gear and the new awesome G Force cooling fans (please let me know if you want the contact information for the fans) I had a chance to run it on 6s and she was violent 🤬 it was putting down so much power. If anyone has any information or questions on the build please let me know what I can do to make it better. I have got some videos on my Instagram but I will be trying to post on the site or to YouTube so that everyone will be able to view them.

Thanks

Get rid of the aluminum suspension arms. The aluminum a-arms always end up breaking the chassis in a crash. You need a weak point as to save your chassis. Stick with the stock a-arms or RPM a-arms. It is a lot easier and cheaper to replace a suspension arm than a chassis

Upgrade the diffs, slipper clutch(or spur gear maybe) and driveshafts. Since it is a 3s typhon it does not have the metal driveshafts or metal diffs. Those poor diffs would only hold unto 3sand maybe some 4s.

I'd highly suggest a different motor such as the Castle 1717 1650kv, TP 4050 or 4060 can, go to metal ring and pinion gears front and rear, metal spur gear, aluminum center driveshaft and loose the aluminum arms. 1717 is same size can but over an oz lighter, TP 4050 is smaller 40mm can and 5oz lighter than the 1250kv spektrum. Also you could run the spektrum 2050kv 6s motor on 8s I've ran mine to 129mph when I first started speed running without issue. Here's a picture of the 1250kv next to 1717, TP 4050 and spektrum 2050kv. I've ran my 1717 up to 153mph in my limitless, 4050 2100kv to 138mph and 2050kv spektrum to 129mph but didn't push it for more which I could have
