Pinion gear removal

Unscrew the grub/set screw in the side of the pinion. May have to use some heat to break free the loctite, can use a soldering iron and hold it on the screw itself for about 30+ seconds then should unscrew easier.

I have a little torch that I got from Lowe’s for 20$
Definitely worth the money
You need these to heat up pinions and bolts ..makes removal much easier
