Hi, firstly I've managed to snap the lever part of the motor mount while trying to take the it out of the truck. Do you think it would be fine to run it like this?

Second, what do you think is the best way to sort out cracking and parts of the body shell wearing down. Would it be drywall tape and shoe glue?

That or some very thin sheet aluminium and rivets would work.

Once the red lock tab is in place I don't see much purpose of that clip.

I just use straight shoo goo on body cracks. And for skid areas, glue lexan strips to the outside. Works great

It secures the spur-case at the top from shifting and displacing the mesh. I wouldn’t drive the car without one.

Shoeglue (or E6000) and drywall tape have kept bodies in shape while bashing.
