Hey everyone -

I was cleaning up some boxes in my basement and came across my old nitro car - it is an Hobao/Ofna Pirate 10 4WD buggy.

To be honest - the thng is brand new - I don't think I ever ran more than a few tanks of fuel through the motor.

I'm getting back into RC, and have bought into Electric (a Kraton, actually two of them). I'm trying to clean up and clear out my old stuff.

In fact this is a retro/vintage RC. Is there a market for this stuff anymore?

I have the origional FM controller - everything is in the box and in really good condition.

How much should I try to sell this for? Is it even worth anything anymore?

Thanks for your input.

Gorgeous buggy!

All these old cars are worth something to somebody. Somebody had one of those at one time and would pay a lot for such a clean example to enjoy again or to shelf queen.

I do a lot of vintage rc on ebay. Buy sell trade. Most definitely a market for it.

But what is a fair price for everything?

Its impossible to say what it would be worth to a particular person.
Best advice is to shoot high with a best offer. If everything is in working order ie not locked up etc.

Get on ebay. Search pirate 10. Click filter- more options- sold items and see what they have been going for in the last 90 days. You'll get a closer idea of what's been fair.
