is the guard not supposed to cover the other side of the arms? if you look at the ARRMA mud guards they have holes where screws go into the hole s that are in the front arms. and that installation is totally opposite of what you did. I also see the aluminum after market guards excatly same as yours in terms of where it is installed. when I look at the stock mudguards it is different . confused.
