They all do the same, in very cold weather the plastic does not have the flex as in warmer temps.
I am thinking of making a custom one from vehicle under chassis covers. Its a very tough plastic with lots of memory. I made one for one of my nitro buggies. It was a pain to make as the plastic is very strong, but I have bashed the nitro buggy endless times, and it has never broken.
