Does anyone know how to set foams once tires a glued? I Purchased these prolines premounted from LHS and they said massage them.. well I tried and tried and tired that with no success. Any suggestions would so greatly be appreciated. Thanks guys,
Andrew

Others may chime in but to me I think you’d have to remove the tire. There’s a YouTube video showing how to use a hairdryer and leather gloves. The heat from the hairdryer will loosen the glue eventually. Gotta keep heat on it and work it apart. Then you can line up the foam. Or take it back to the hobby shop and ask them to fix it for you. I mean you did just buy them.

For sure thanks for the reply.. I did just buy them and when I took them back to my LHS they just said work/massage them straight. I can't seem to do that after many attempts that's why I'm reaching out to my arrma fam for help.. I am also awaiting a response from proline since my LHS didnt want to help. Thanks again for you help. I think dismounting would be my first option if proline says they won't help me.. plus I'd be able to tape them up. I've never had this issue mounting and gluing myself. Craziness

That's a lopsided glue job. My 40 series Trenchers were the same way. BTW, I also reglued them & taped them up but the gorilla tape ripped within a week so I ended up dealing with a ridiculous mess to remove the tape. That was the last set of tires I ever taped. They were on a Yeti XL as well.

@Megasty

Oh no don't say all that... so what do you think I should do, return them asap?? I glued the gorilla tape inside the oem tires they work fine but I only had one axle nut on them and it backed itself off and ruined one rim plus I have stock foams in them and the foams or tires or both are way to soft for 6s(oem kit tires). So that's why I purchased these but this is what I get when I buy a 100 dollar set. Needless to say I've had my kit together for a month and haven't ran a pack through it. I know this isn't the place for the yeti but I really appreciate your guys help and value your advice. Let me know whatyou suggest I do? Did you glue and tape or just tape yours? Do you think the glue really helps the tape that much?(super glue) and if you do say return them what do you suggest I get? Tires that is... not trucks haha

@Megasty so aside from that I'm looking for a 2.2/3.0 beadlock for my senton 6s and 2 fury blx's any suggestions? we like to drive off and on road which is why I was thinking beadlocks.. ebay has some that look just like prolines but those are the only 2 I can find other than rc4wd which are outrageously priced. Thanks for your help. Also let me know what you suggest with the trenchers.

@Osuandrew87 The proline beadlocks will work fine for the fury but there are no 2.2/3.0 beadlocks that can handle 4-6s power. I usually run buggy tires on my Senton. I don't do much on road driving so I stick with badlands. As for taping tires, I've tried everything - & 6s power beat everything. I just come to deal with the ballooning. The Yeti XL is a hard beast to tame. I had to fashion 2 sets of rear sway bars just to eliminate the torque twist. It's still wearing the Trenchers. The only problem with re-gluing them is that you can completely ruin them at any point in the process. I've run several tires on the thing from huge & heavy Mudslingers to regular Trencher X's. Badlands mx38's & Backflips are good choices too. All those tires tend to balloon but the Yeti XL is much more stable with the fatter tires.

Awesome man thanks for the tips, I really appreciate your advice. I'm running the 2000kv tekin t8 with rx8 gen 3 I think 17/64 on 6s but I cant remember the pinion exactly but it has to much power for tall soft tires and crap foams.. I kinda like the torque twist.. its unique and I think its pretty cool as long as its semi controllable. I really like the way it grips with the trenchers. When driving it though the whole truck rocks back and forth and I'm afraid it's going to mess up bearings or diff somehow. You can see in the video I'm trying to hold the truck from wobbling back and forth.. also I really wanted to put 1/8 buggy on my kids fury's but im struggling with finding a 17mm hex adapter. The one that looks the best but haven't tried are these

https://m.ebay.com/itm/4-RC-Adapter...408396?hash=item23993786cc:g:Mh0AAOSw9vlaZOo1

Only thing is I have to drill out the axle for a larger pin and didnt know if that would weaken the axle to much. Also the wheel nut would be tightening the wheel to the 17mm adapter not the axle which was another concern I had. Any thoughts?

I had fun with the torque twist as well, until my trigger finger destroyed the stock tires. Drilling out the axle shouldn't weaken it too much but you may have to shim the axle between the bearing & adapter to make sure the adapter stays true.

Haha right... I think the 1/8 buggys handle way better than the 2.2/3.0s anyways what would you run on the fury's beadlocks or 1/8 buggys with adapters?
