V3 Typhon Shocks !!! Mmm !!!

I'm thinking the V2 caps probably fit??? Maybe not, looks like a lot less thread on the V3.

@Rich Duperbash Yeah they don’t fit. Ah well I might have to get some Talion V3 shocks there only 5ish mm longer

@Camo that's a total bummer they went with plastic shock caps. I'm thinking the plastic cap guards are catching the ground and causing breakages???

@Rich Duperbash Yeah it is shite they went with plastic caps because they are really sweet shocks. I don’t think it’s the cap guards cause they attach through the shock mount bolt. Don’t really know what happend because the mount bolt was bent as well ?? The cap guards have actually done a good job u can see the wear on them already from upside down slides lol !!

This is disgusting if you ask me...Lets increase the shock shafts but take away the aluminum shock caps. Sounds like a peepee move !!!!! It's a buggy for pete sake and should be built for massive abuse.They should have put more of the team durango dex 408 into the typhon as that rig is stellar with engineering front to back !!!!;

Hey @Rich Duperbash I think I have it sussed. Marty ( typhon34 ) pointed out that the Typhon rear shock bodies are the same part number as the Kraton /Outcast front so I’m thinking the caps should fit. Happy days !! Have u noticed that a lot of the V3 shock parts are the same as the Nero part numbers ???

More plastic parts..! The typhon is devolving now then. why wont they make a premium car all metal and and or carbon everything. I'd pay double the ammount for that beast as i'm sure a lot of others would.

On a seperate note, is that V3 body available to buy seperately yet? Be bloody years off being available here in the UK I bet, I cant even get a spare v2 shell

@Camo I became aware of that when I built my son's Outcast from his Typhon early last year. Just tested Kraton V3 shocks on my Outcast yesterday during a mud bash using my V2 shock caps. I can't guarantee they'll work on the V3 Typhon, but so far so good with mine. I hadn't noticed about the Nero parts compatibility.

@Rich Duperbash What did u think of the Kraton V3 shocks ? I like the bigger washer under the piston.
