Traxxas trying to compete with the Granite. Costs and extra $150 compared to the granite, and still using standard ultra shocks by the looks of it. They blow caps and bend rods easy, but one good thing about them is they don't leak.

Traxxas does what the F they want i bet a 6s truck at 750$

Eh... Sounds about right seeing how E Revo 1.0 was around that price when it came out. The new E Revo 2.0 when it came out was around 529.99/539.99, now they want 599.99 after charging that much for the all blacked out "Special Edition" E Revo 2.0 around summer of 2019.

So yeah 600~800 bucks for a 6S vehicle sounds about right for a Traxxas product, as currently their UDR and E Revo 2.0 both 6S vehicles are already there.

yep to me this is the most egregious spec of the truck. a 2wd slash with a little jumping destroys them. Should have at least put the big bores on there

It's technically not just a Stampede 4x4 with a different body on it. The wheelbase is in between the size of a Stampede and a Slash. The Hoss has a lover center of gravity chassis and a center diff.
Can someone tell me how this compares to the Maxx? I see it's 3S and the Maxx is 4S. Is it larger? More ground clearance? Why would you buy this over the Maxx? Honest question.
In all honesty I really see no point in this truck, unless they drop the price like $80-90 and get rid of the Stampede 4x4.

IDK man, that 1/16 E Revo's pretty nice... Don't get me wrong my Mojave really is the best thing ever, but for my kinda tiny back yard I'm really considering the baby Revo.
It only looks nice trust me. Biggest $200 money pit.................

And all we need is love  :ROFLMAO:

539€ in an EU shop, close to the price of many 1/8. What is new in this thing? A 20yo design with a torque bias center diff. covered by an ugly body shell? With the same crappy plastic CVD and shock absorbers used for years? Traxxas seems to really like to sell their aluminum shock caps. I bought a Traxxas slash 4x4 for 130$, electronics 30$, why would i put 539€ in someting similar? Oh yes, the Traxxas hype with spares which rain all over the world that we can find during years.

rc garage he is going to get sued! 2 runs all is bearings are falling apart his motor has slop pinion fell off and he get treated by custumer service like trash and he is so boiling mad?. I never though a brand new motor from traxxas xmaxx can have massive shaft slop someone opened a brand new xmaxx and the motor had massive shaft slop.

Nope it has the newer style crappy driveshafts from the Rustler 4x4 on it.

Traxxas really should just discontinue their legacy models and redesign everything.
far better to go with the LC or Tacon...then the little revo. jmo...

Right? My Merv was always broken I sunk so much money into that pile of crap. It's nice to have a mini that I can run to lvc without having to fix it after every run.

So Traxxas can make a clone, but nobody else can even use a similar name...

Come on Traxxas, so ridiculous!. They sue them because they named their esc MMAX? Seriously? So, what about hobbywing with all their ESC range? Will they sue them too?

Some more good job for them :
