Kraton Anyone know what temp CASTLE ESC FAN comes on???

I have looked everywhere I can think and can’t find a word about it.

For some reason I remember something along the lines of 140-145 so I think you're right

My Mamba X ESC cooked itself to death on its maiden voyage. I now run all my Castle ESC fans off of the trucks receivers.

Thats a great question that I never thought about. I remember when I was new to RC I thought for sure the Castle ESC I'd just gotten from ebay was broken because the fan didn't come on right away when I plugged it in

That sounds right to me too. I just wish I could see it on their website or somewhere in their manuals. I’m just going to go by 140 on and 90 off. Where do you guys aim a temp gun to get the most accurate results on castle ESC’s . Hobbywing I just hit the cap pack and they’ll cut off before burning up. If a Castle goes thermal you might not know it until it’s too late.
