Thanks for the links. Just received stock replacement motor, got running again. Definitely gonna order the Atomik 19t to hold me over. Gotta buy my kid a new rc before I kick out the dough for my Castle SCT

Hi

The Atomic motor comes with soft brushes so you may want to see about getting some medium brushes for better performance. Also for longer motor life you should brake in the modifed motor as well as the stock replacement motor you got.

....and don't forget to spray electical cleaner inside the motor and apply a light oil to your bushings or bearings after each run to extend your motors life !

Yes it will work and no it will be a lot slower. With brushed motors usually the lower the turn number the faster it is. That being said iirc the stock esc will only support down to a 12t motor.
