I can’t remove the front chassis brace on my infraction V2 even after removing both screws, do I need to remove the top steering plate? Please help.

Give the chassis a little flex.. to relieve the pressure on it.
The brace is probably pinched..

Where the brace is a square part of it that goes through the chassey. I tap it out with a large hex. .You may also want to slide the top of the brace over a bit first.

Should I take the top steering plate off?

I took the screws out of the steering plate and that gave me a little wiggle room
