A friend struggles to fit a v2 slipper clutch into a v1 Kraton. He says it might be because of the small plastic that is on the diff side of the slipper clutch maintenance set. that seems to be missing from the manual, but otherwise its present on both the old maintenance set https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/slipper-clutch-maintenance-set/ARAC9103.html and the new maintenance set too https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/slipper-clutch-maintenance-set/ARA311033.html .
any clues whats up? I know its a bit hard to fit the motor into the slipper in 4S v2's but I never heard of the slippers being a problem.

thanks for any advice :)

I think the Splined shaft part to the Slippers are different lengths?
Not 100% sure though. Sorry, can't help more.
I know the Hard core 4x4 guys here will have the answer for sure.

You will need to sway out the old diff input gear for the v2 input gear . They are not the same lengths . The v2 gear shaft is shorter than the v1 and that is why you can’t snap the gear box back into place
Swap not (sway)
