22t in the Outcast with 1650kv big block motor and two 30mm motor fans (73mph gearing) on backflips

Both on 6s, off-road bash setup w/NO overheating issues

I believe it's 15.

Also there really is no "best" pinion. It depends of driving style, driving surface, tire size, skill level, etc.

11 or 12 tooth comes in the v5 I don't know about any other kraton

V5 comes with a 12T installed. I've found that you can run the 15T as a bashing pinion at less than 80F with stock tires and at least a dual 30mm fan setup. Anything over 80F and you need dual fans and to go down to Backflip LP tires. Even then it's toasty and you need to watch temps.
