Black or silver backer???

Just got done painting my BD 765 body with 2 cans of gold orange purple red Spaz Stix Paint… what backer should I use to make the colors pop???? Silver or black TIA

I think those color changing spazstix paints suggest using black on the can.

If in doubt, try it on a trash piece of lexan.

For my color change I did black backer and it turned out great. Just make sure you do light even coats and cover it good. I did the gold to red spaz stix and it came out awesome.

Black will give you the best color change effect. I tried gunmetal as a backer once and it didn't turn out that great.
Blue is supposed to be a good color to back it with as well but I never tried it.

Looks awesome! I actually just ordered some for that new bitty felony body. I think I got the glossy black backer that was recommended as well.

That is gold, green, orange, purple on the LC truggy and the square body. The car is gold, orange, purple red.
