Broken hardcase on lipo

Hi All, just took my outcast 4s to the skate park with pops. He told me take it easy I kept going and.... front bumper bent minor. But the hard case of the lipo jas broken one end I can kind of get it back on but its warped.

I was about to dispose of it but he said get an opinion on it, so can this still be used safely or should I dispose? Will probably get slightly cheaper batteries this one was expensive.

If it's not puffing, still holding a good charge and balancing out, tape it up and go play.

"Soft" lipo packs are essentially what you have there inside the hard case, minus the hard case (and typically with a fitted plastic shrink wrap).

If the cells themselves aren't damaged i'd personally just tape it back in and keep an eye on them. Never a bad idea to monitor a lipo that's had an ejection or been in a big crash.
