Just wondering, has anybody tried an automotive clear coat on the outside of the body? I've did the gorilla tape on all of my cars, which works great, but I'd like to have a solution to getting dog eared stickers/decals,...any one tried this or other methods?

Run a thin bead of clear e6000 along your decal edges. Automotive clear coat is extremely brittle and will crack on any flexible polycarbonate/lexan impact. If it'll sit on the shelf and you just wanted the gloss, sure...

Agreed with the above. Automotive clear wont adhere very well to plastic and quickly it will start cracking and flaking off in big chunks.
